PlayStation 4 headset bundled with all next-gen consoles

Every PlayStation 4 console will come bundled with a headset, confirmed Sony following the reveal of its next-generation console in New York City yesterday.
Via a press release, Sony stated: “Combined with the Mono Headset that will be bundled with PS4, gamers will also be able to chat with friends playing online, while hearing sound effects from the controller in hand.
The headset will connect to the jack on the DUALSHOCK 4 controller enabling players to chat during online games, though we’ll also be able to hear sound through the controller, confirmed Shuhei Yoshida, President of SCE Worldwide Studios, via the official PlayStation Blog.
This is good news for gamers, who had to buy a headset separately when purchasing a PS3. Sony has yet to show-off its new cans, but we’d expect to see more at E3 later this year.
